EISD Regular February Board Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 15 at 6:00 p.m., in the Siebert Elementary Cafeteria.
2/5/24, Middle School Lady Mavs Basketball: Breckenridge has changed their schedule due to absences. 7th/8th B teams will play a combo game at 4:30 PM, with two 20 minute halves. 7th A will be at 5:15 PM and 8th A will be at 6:15 PM. All games will be played in the LT Cook gymnasium.
School Closure 2/2/2024
Dear EISD Families,
EISD will cancel classes on Friday 2/2/24 due to an increasing number of student and staff illnesses. Custodial and maintenance staff will conduct thorough cleanings of our buildings as well as school buses. This will not affect extracurricular activities that are already scheduled. We hope this opportunity to disinfect our facilities will help curb the number of illnesses that are affecting the greater school community. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding as we focus on providing a safe and healthy environment for students to return to on Monday 2/5/24.

TUESDAY, 1/16/24:All EISD campuses will begin school at regular time, no delays.
School begins at 10am today. Middle School students should report directly to 3rd period. We will be on regular schedule beginning at 10am.
1/15/24, All Campuses will have a delayed start at 10:00 AM. Buses will run 2 hours late.

1/11/24, Middle School Boys and Girls Basketball: The Middle School Lady Mavs will play against Dublin in Eastland, starting at 5 PM with the Combo B game, followed by the 8A game at 5:45 PM, and the 7A game at 6:45 PM.
The Middle School Mavericks will play in Dublin, starting with the 7B game at 4:30 PM, followed by a rolling schedule in this order: 8B, 7A, 8A.
The Eastland County Livestock Show is this week! Eastland FFA has 179 animal entries plus some really good Ag Mechanics projects. If you have time, come out and see the students in action!

We will have an early release this Thursday, December 21st, at 11:55. A grab and go lunch will be served until 12:10. We will resume classes on Monday, January 8th.
Christmas Band Concert tonight in the High School Auditorium beginning at 6pm for all band students.
BAND CONCERT - Monday, December 18th
It is mandatory for all band students to participate.
5:30 p.m.- All band students arrive at the Band Hall.
6pm- 6th Grade Band performs
6:30pm - Middle School Band (⅞ grade) performs
We ask that all able bodied spectators park in the parking lot between the gyms and school. You will then walk up the hill to the auditorium located in the high school. We would like to reserve the parking closest to the auditorium for only those that would have difficulty walking up the hill.
The Eastland Independent School District Bands are proud to present the 2023 Christmas Concert!
The concert will be held at the Eastland High School Auditorium on December 18th. 6th Grade Band will perform at 6pm, Middle School Band will perform at 6:30 and the High School Band performs at 7pm.
12/4, EMS Boys Basketball @ Breckenridge: The schedule for Middle School Maverick Basketball games in Breckenridge is as follows. B teams will play in the Old Junior High Gym: 8B @ 4:30 followed by 7B @ 5:30. A teams will play in the In LT Cook gymnasium: 7A @ 4:30 followed by 8A @ 5:30.
