June 18 is the deadline for all dual credit paperwork to be turned into the high school office and for students to have taken and passed the TSI test. Students need to apply to Ranger College and Cisco College by June 18 as well.

5/28, Dual Credit Parent Meeting: There will be a Dual Credit parent meeting on Tuesday, May 28 at 5:30pm in the high school library.
Eastland High School would love to thank the parents and community members that made our teacher appreciation week a big success. Thank you to Mr. Williams, Mary Jones, and Shelley Rinehart for cooking omelettes for the teachers on Monday and delivering cupcakes and a gift to the teachers on Tuesday. Thank you to the parents of each class that provided lunch every day. A special thanks to Courtney Bridges, Coach Galyean, Chasady Browning, Leslie Boelter, Kristine Franco, Crystal Purdom, Brandi Daliege, Lauren Hatton, Audrey Millican, and Melissa Wilson who showed up and served the teachers. Finally, we would like to thank Lori Hammon who provided every staff member at EHS with a $10 gift card to Ms. Brown's Coffee Shop. We are blessed.
The May School Board Meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, May 20th.
EISD, All Campuses: Returning student registration is open from May 6th to May 20th (5/6-5/20).

5/1, Letter Jacket Fitting/Orders Rescheduled: Balfour will be at the High School on Wednesday, May 1st at 1 PM for Letter Jacket fitting and orders.

Required for all incoming 7th, 9th, 11th grade athletes, marching band members, and cheerleaders. 8th grade marching band members will also need to get a physical.
Any incoming 8th, 10th, & 12th grade who answers "Yes" on questions 1-6 on the medical history form will have to get a physical as well.
All incoming athletes, marching band members, and cheerleaders are required to complete UIL compliance paperwork annually.
4/22, Lady Mavericks Softball Senior Night: Lady Mavericks Softball Senior Night game against Dublin is tonight, April 22nd at 5 PM.
Senior Night activities will take place immediately before the game.

4/19, Lady Mavericks Softball Senior Night: Due to the changes in the Regional Track Meet schedule, the Lady Mavericks Softball Senior Night game against Dublin has been rescheduled to Monday, April 22nd at 5 PM. Senior Night will take place immediately before the game.
4/19, Mavericks Baseball: Dublin has cancelled their JV schedule. Varsity Mavericks will play at 5:30 PM.
4/19 - 4/20, Regional Track Meet @ ACU: Due to anticipated weather, the Regional Track Meet at ACU has altered the schedule for the event.
4/13, EHS OAP Area contest performance, Clyde HS: Performance time will be Saturday, at approximately 4:10 PM. The performance may be earlier or later, as time is dependent on other schools' performance times.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and will allow you to see 6 plays. Plays will start at 12 PM. Audience are only permitted to enter between shows so you must arrive early to be seated.
Remember: UIL Rules state that only clapping, not cheering or unruly words/actions, is appropriate for the theatre and during awards ceremonies. Make sure to turn off all phones and electronic devices during performances. No video or photography is permitted, and absolutely only kind comments about all schools' shows when talking between or after plays, as all students have worked hard and deserve respect.

12 Eastland athletes and one alternate will be heading to the Regional Meet in Abilene next Friday and Saturday! Coach Lewis is now taking orders for Track Regional Qualifier T-Shirts, and needs names and sizes by 2 PM on April 12th! The shirts will be pink, short sleeve, dri-fit shirts with white and black lettering. They will be in Men’s sizes only, and be in the $20 range. Payment is due on delivery, if not before.

The UIL Area Track Meet on April 11th in Breckenridge will begin with the 3200 Meter Run at 10:00 AM. A schedule of events can be found here, or on the EISD or EHS Facebook pages.
Baseball and Softball will play today (4/8) at 4:30 due to the forcast for rain the next 2 days. Varsity will play first and the JV teams will follow.
