The JV Baseball double header with X Dot Academy next week has been changed from Tuesday (3/4) to Monday (3/3).
3/3/25: EHS is hosting a Dual Credit Information Night on Monday, March 3rd @ 5:30 in the EHS Library.
There will be no early morning workouts in the weightroom on Wednesday or Thursday (2/19 and 2/20). 7th Grade boys can report to the 64 Gym at 7:30 AM.
The Mavericks Baseball game with Merkel has been rescheduled from Tuesday to Monday, February 17th. JV will play at 4:30 and Varsity will play at 7:00.
Mckenna Fambro will be signing with Hardin-Simmons University to Pole Vault at 3:00 PM on Friday, 2/14/25! The signing will be in the Weight Room.
2/11/25, Mavericks Basketball VS Comanche @ Marshall Gym: The Mavericks will play against Comanche tonight in the Marshall Gym. JV will play at 5:00 PM and 6:15 PM, Varsity will play at 7:30 PM.

1/31/25, Lady Mavs Basketball VS Dublin: The JV Lady Mavs Basketball team will not be playing Dublin on Friday. The Varsity Lady Mavs will play Dublin starting at 6:15 pm.

Dear EISD Families
EISD will cancel classes on Thursday (1/23/25) and Friday (1/24/25) due to an increasing number of student and staff illnesses. Custodial and maintenance staff will conduct thorough cleanings of our buildings as well as school buses. This will not affect extracurricular activities that are already scheduled. We hope this opportunity to disinfect our facilities will help curb the number of illnesses that are affecting the greater school community. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding as we focus on providing a safe and healthy environment for students to return to on Monday.

Reminder: There will be a meeting for all prospective Baseball players' parents today (1/13/25) at 6:00 PM in the 64 Gym. All parents are encouraged to attend, players are welcome but are not required to attend.
High School Varsity Basketball teams will play Millsap at the Marshall Gym on Saturday, January 11th. Girls will play first at 10 AM, followed by the boys.
High School Basketball games scheduled for January 10th VS Millsap have been canceled. Due to changing weather conditions, the make up time and date will be updated Friday.
Reminder: All EISD campuses will be closed Thursday (1/9) and Friday (1/10) for the Eastland County Stock Show. Classes will resume on Monday (1/13).
12/12/24: EHS is having a FAFSA night this Thursday at 5:30 in the high school library. A representative from Ranger College will be there to discuss FAFSA and answer questions.

11/22/24, High School Mavericks Basketball: The game that was scheduled for Friday the 22nd is cancelled. The game scheduled for the 25th against DeLeon will be dependent on whether or not they will be in the football playoffs.
10/24, 10/25, EMS and EHS Mavericks @ Dublin: For the Middle School and High School Football games at Dublin on Thursday and Friday, ticket sales will be either cash at the gate or online. Online ticket sales are on the DISD athletics page at https://www.dublinisd.us/domain/17
Admission price for sub-varsity games will be $3. Varsity admission prices will be $5 for Adults & $3. Online price will be $4 for all tickets.
