4/19, Lady Mavericks Softball Senior Night: Due to the changes in the Regional Track Meet schedule, the Lady Mavericks Softball Senior Night game against Dublin has been rescheduled to Monday, April 22nd at 5 PM. Senior Night will take place immediately before the game.

4/19, Mavericks Baseball: Dublin has cancelled their JV schedule. Varsity Mavericks will play at 5:30 PM.

4/19 - 4/20, Regional Track Meet @ ACU: Due to anticipated weather, the Regional Track Meet at ACU has altered the schedule for the event.

4/13, EHS OAP Area contest performance, Clyde HS: Performance time will be Saturday, at approximately 4:10 PM. The performance may be earlier or later, as time is dependent on other schools' performance times. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and will allow you to see 6 plays. Plays will start at 12 PM. Audience are only permitted to enter between shows so you must arrive early to be seated. Remember: UIL Rules state that only clapping, not cheering or unruly words/actions, is appropriate for the theatre and during awards ceremonies. Make sure to turn off all phones and electronic devices during performances. No video or photography is permitted, and absolutely only kind comments about all schools' shows when talking between or after plays, as all students have worked hard and deserve respect. The shirts will be pink, short sleeve, dri-fit shirts with white and black lettering. They will be in Men’s sizes only, and be in the $20 range. Payment is due on delivery, if not before. The UIL Area Track Meet on April 11th in Breckenridge will begin with the 3200 Meter Run at 10:00 AM. A schedule of events can be found here, or on the EISD or EHS Facebook pages.

4/3, Lady Mavs Softball: The Lady Mavs will play in Dublin against Peaster at 6:30 PM.

4/1, Mavericks Baseball: Due to chances of inclement weather, the Varsity Baseball team will play first today. Game will begin at 4:30 PM, weather permitting.

Eastland ISD Will Be Closed April 8: On Monday, April 8, we have the opportunity to witness a once-in-a-lifetime total solar eclipse. In order to protect students and provide parents with the opportunity to experience the eclipse with their children, Eastland ISD will join several other Texas school districts in closing school that day. We encourage you to take precautions to safely observe this rare and exciting astronomical event as a family. On Friday, April 5, all EISD students will be provided with a pair of ISO-approved viewing glasses to take home. Regular school hours will resume on Tuesday, April 9. 3/8, Lady Mavs Softball Update: Today’s softball game in Peaster will be pushed back to 7 PM due to last night's weather and the current field conditions. Only Varsity will play.

Mavericks Baseball Update: The Albany Tournament will continue to be in Clyde at their new facilities today. The game times have been changed as well. The Mavericks will play Brady at 1:00 PM, and will play Albany 3:00 PM.

High School Track meet 3/7/24 Due to weather forecast- Cisco will start the running at 3:45. Shot, disc and pole vault will start at 3:30 all other field events are cancelled No 2 mile - 4x1 starts at 3:45

Mavericks Baseball Update: The first game of the Albany Tournament will be in Clyde at their new facilities against Cisco at 10 AM. Friday's games will be in Albany.

3/7-3/9, Mavericks Baseball: The Varsity Mavericks will play in the Albany Baseball Tournament starting on Thursday at 10:00 AM with a game against Cisco (UPDATE: the game against Cisco will be played in Clyde at their new facilities. Friday's games will be back in Albany). On Friday, the Mavericks will play against Brady at 10:00 AM, and will later play Albany at 2:00 PM. The JV Mavericks will play on Friday in Eastland against Abilene X Academy at 5:30 PM.

3/5, Lady Mavs Softball VS Early: Early will not have a JV team for Tuesday's game. Varsity Lady Mavs will play at 5:00 PM.

3/4, JV Mavericks Baseball Schedule Change: Due to an umpire shortage, the JV Mavericks Baseball game scheduled for Tuesday, March 5th will now be played Monday, March 4th at 4:30 PM in Eastland.
