Eastland ISD will hold a meeting for private, non-profit school representatives regarding the district's participation in the Title I, Part A federal grant program from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2025 in the Eastland Middle School conference room.
The meeting is open to representatives of private, non-profit schools that have students in Eastland ISD and would be interested in participating in this federal program.

District Parent Family Engagement Policy Review:
You are invited to participate in a review of the Title I, Part A District Parent Family Engagement policy. Parents, family members, and community members are all welcome to participate. The meeting will take place in the Siebert Elementary cafeteria at 4:00 on Monday, May 12. We look forward to seeing you!
Physicals will be this Thursday (5/8/25) in the Marshall Gym. The physicals are free for all student athletes, band members, cheerleaders, etc. The physicals will start on 8th period for athletes in 8th period and will be open to everyone as soon as school gets out. Athletes entering the 7th, 9th, and 11th grade are required to have a physical to participate in athletics. Athletes that were injured regardless of grade must have a physical as well.
4/17, Lady Mavs Softball VS Millsap: Today, the Lady Mavs Softball game at Millsap is being moved back to 5:30 PM. JV will still play immediately after.
The Eastland High School main building is experiencing a partial power outage. All high school students need to report to the Marshall Gym. All other campuses and buildings at EISD are not experiencing power issues.
EISD will have a 10:00 start Thursday (4-3-25) due to storm caused power outages. Buses will run two hours late. We will reevaluate the situation and send out any updated notifications as soon as possible. Thank you, Jeremy Williams - Superintendent EISD
High School Counselors will be meeting with 8th graders on Thursday, April 3 during Coach Escalon's classes. They will be discussing the transition from 8th grade to high school, which will include graduation requirements and course requests for next year's schedules.

4/1/25, Mavericks Baseball VS Dublin: Due to field conditions in Dublin the JV baseball game VS Dublin has been canceled. Varsity will play at Stephenville High School at 6 PM tonight.
The schedule for the HS Track Meet at Albany on Thursday (3/27) has been revised due to potential weather conditions. The 3200 Meter Run will begin at 9:30 AM, and field events will begin at 10:00 AM. Running events will begin approximately 15 minutes after field events end.

Za'Nyea Dunn will be signing on Wednesday, March 19th at 2pm in the weight room. She will be cheering at Cisco College in the Fall.
Today's Softball game against Peaster has been moved to tomorrow (3/5). The game will be Varsity only at 6:00 PM at Peaster.
Eastland High School's power has been restored. All classes will resume as normal.
Eastland High School Update (3/4/25): The Eastland High School main building is still without power at this time. All other campuses and buildings in the district have power. Students whose classrooms are affected by the power loss are at the Marshall Gym with staff members. Encore is working to restore power. Lunch will be served at the normal time in the cafeteria. Due to the power outage, High School phones are not operational. Phone contacts can be made by calling Eastland Middle School (254-631-5040) and your message will be delivered to the party you are trying to reach.

The JV Baseball double header with X Dot Academy next week has been changed from Tuesday (3/4) to Monday (3/3).
3/3/25: EHS is hosting a Dual Credit Information Night on Monday, March 3rd @ 5:30 in the EHS Library.
There will be no early morning workouts in the weightroom on Wednesday or Thursday (2/19 and 2/20). 7th Grade boys can report to the 64 Gym at 7:30 AM.
