At the School Board Meeting on January 15th, Laurah Williams was selected as Teacher of the Month, and Lacee Mehaffey was selected as Employee of the month! Congratulations!
Laurah Williams was selected as EHS Teacher of the Month. She is the head of the Eastland CTE program and assists the Eastland chapter of the FFA with their many activities and competitions. Outside of the classroom, she assists students with their projects, helps prepare students for competitions, and escorts students to stock shows, contests, conferences, and competitions. While managing so many things is a daunting task, Mrs. Williams goes above and beyond to make sure her students are not only learning, but developing skills that will help them throughout their lives.
Lacee Mehaffey is the Siebert Elementary Employee of the Month. She is an Instructional Aide who helps Siebert teachers and students throughout the day. She is a great help around campus, putting her full effort into any task presented to her. She is a team player, always ready to help both teachers and students to ensure that everything is running smoothly on campus.
