For all Lady Mavs families and fans going to the Basketball Area Playoff game at Hardin-Simmons Mabee Athletic Complex tonight: Be aware that the Simmons Street entrance to the campus is closed due to construction. You can access the campus on either Beech Street or on Hickory. Construction has also reduced the number of available parking spaces. Parking may take longer than expected due to this.
The Eastland Lady Mavs will play the Jim Ned Lady Indians on Friday, February 16th for the Basketball Area Playoff game! The game will start at 5:00 PM at Hardin Simmons University's Mabee Athletic Complex, 2401 Simmons Avenue, Abilene, TX. Tickets will not be sold at the gate, and are only available online at http://hsim.sidearmsports.com/sports/2023/5/31/tickets.aspx

School Closure 2/2/2024
Dear EISD Families,
EISD will cancel classes on Friday 2/2/24 due to an increasing number of student and staff illnesses. Custodial and maintenance staff will conduct thorough cleanings of our buildings as well as school buses. This will not affect extracurricular activities that are already scheduled. We hope this opportunity to disinfect our facilities will help curb the number of illnesses that are affecting the greater school community. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding as we focus on providing a safe and healthy environment for students to return to on Monday 2/5/24.

1/16/24, Mavericks and Lady Mavs Basketball: There will be no games on 1/16/24. The games against Early have been moved to Wednesday, January 17th, in Early. Only Varsity will be playing, with the Lady Mavs starting at 5:00 PM, followed by the Mavericks at 6:15 PM.
