The HS boys team of Brayden Sparkman, Derek Harris, Andrew Hicks, Sammy Herrera, Chase Clark, and Ethan Maddox placed 5th out of 30 teams in class AAA from almost every Region I school at the Lubbock Invitational. There were 154 individuals running and medaling for the Mavericks were Andrew Hicks (2nd) and Sammy Herrera (19th).
