This weekend marked the beginning of All-State Band auditions across Texas for 2026! Seven EHS Band students traveled to Graham to audition in the first round, All-Region, and five of our seven students earned a spot in one of the two bands!
Bb Clarinet – Hogan Doar, Symphonic Band, 7th chair
F Horn – Reed Whittlesey, Symphonic Band (Area Alternate) 3rd chair
Tenor Trombone – WH Allman, Honors Band (3A Area) 4th chair
Euphonium – Jrayden Veloz, Symphonic Band, 6th chair
Tuba – Christian Renfro, Symphonic Band, 2nd chair
The All-Region Bands Concert will be held January 23–24 at Tarleton State University.
WH Allman advances to the Area Contest on January 10 at Ranchview High School, where he will compete for a place in the ATSSB All-State Band.
