Eastland FFA: State Competition

We are Maverick Proud of our Eastland FFA members that competed at the Texas FFA State judging contest today at Texas A&M University! Congratulations to all that competed - Meats, Vet Tech, and Livestock Teams.

The Eastland Farm and Agribusiness Management Team - Savanna Koroch, Angel Li, Jaci Darr and Micayla Henry - won the State FBM contest on Friday, and will compete next fall in Denver at the National Contest!  Savanna was 2nd High individual in the state, Angel 8th high, Jaci 11th high and Micayla 17th high. 

Meats Evaluation- 2nd place in the State 6 man through 6A! These boys will compete next fall in Denver at the National contest! Team Members Cole Bridges (2nd high individual in the state), Ivan Rivas (3rd high individual in the state), Jacob Harrower, and Bentley Huffman.

Eastland FFA 3 State Finalists teams!

Livestock Team - Hana Hogan, Taylar Fullen, Audrey Ivey, and Avery Walton. Over 1300 teams started out the year and these girls finished in the top 6 percent in the state.

Vet Tech - Londyn Carrol, Kaylen McDonald, Adriana Roberson, and Landri Foster. This contest is the largest in the state with close to 1400 teams. These ladies finished in the top 3 percent across the state.
