Coach Lewis is now taking orders for Track Regional Qualifier T-Shirts, and needs names and sizes by 2 PM on April 12th! The shirts will be pink, short sleeve, dri-fit shirts with white and black lettering. They will be in Men’s sizes only, and be in the $20 range. Payment is due on delivery, if not before.

The UIL Area Track Meet on April 11th in Breckenridge will begin with the 3200 Meter Run at 10:00 AM. A schedule of events can be found here, or on the EISD or EHS Facebook pages.

4/1, Mavericks Baseball: Due to chances of inclement weather, the Varsity Baseball team will play first today. Game will begin at 4:30 PM, weather permitting.
Eastland ISD Will Be Closed April 8:
On Monday, April 8, we have the opportunity to witness a once-in-a-lifetime total solar eclipse. In order to protect students and provide parents with the opportunity to experience the eclipse with their children, Eastland ISD will join several other Texas school districts in closing school that day. We encourage you to take precautions to safely observe this rare and exciting astronomical event as a family. On Friday, April 5, all EISD students will be provided with a pair of ISO-approved viewing glasses to take home. Regular school hours will resume on Tuesday, April 9.

3/8, Lady Mavs Softball Update: Today’s softball game in Peaster will be pushed back to 7 PM due to last night's weather and the current field conditions. Only Varsity will play.
Mavericks Baseball Update: The Albany Tournament will continue to be in Clyde at their new facilities today. The game times have been changed as well. The Mavericks will play Brady at 1:00 PM, and will play Albany 3:00 PM.

3/7-3/9, Mavericks Baseball: The Varsity Mavericks will play in the Albany Baseball Tournament starting on Thursday at 10:00 AM with a game against Cisco (UPDATE: the game against Cisco will be played in Clyde at their new facilities. Friday's games will be back in Albany). On Friday, the Mavericks will play against Brady at 10:00 AM, and will later play Albany at 2:00 PM.
The JV Mavericks will play on Friday in Eastland against Abilene X Academy at 5:30 PM.
3/5, Lady Mavs Softball VS Early: Early will not have a JV team for Tuesday's game. Varsity Lady Mavs will play at 5:00 PM.
3/4, JV Mavericks Baseball Schedule Change: Due to an umpire shortage, the JV Mavericks Baseball game scheduled for Tuesday, March 5th will now be played Monday, March 4th at 4:30 PM in Eastland.

The schedule for the tournament is as follows:
On 2/29, the Mavericks will play in Stamford at 1:00 PM against Stamford. On 3/1, the Mavericks will play in Anson at 7:00 PM against Albany. On 3/2, the Mavericks will play in Anson at 1:00 PM against Anson.
2/22-24, Mavericks Baseball, Brown County Tournament Schedule:
The Eastland Mavericks will play in the Brown County Baseball Tournament. On Thursday, February 22nd, the Mavericks will play in Early at 11:30 AM against Olney. On Friday, February 23rd, the Mavericks will play in Bangs against Bangs at 9 AM and against Miles at 2 PM. On Saturday, February 24th, the Mavericks will play in Early against Goldthwaite at 9 AM.
2/20/24, Lady Mavs Softball: The Lady Mavs Softball game at DeLeon will be at 4:00 PM on Tuesday.
