Attention Dual Credit and Honors Parents... January 8, 2020
Your child will receive their report cards on Thursday January the 9th and you will see the grades that they earned the first semester in their honors and dual credit classes. The numeric average in advanced classes will no longer reflect the 10 points as it is now automatically calculated in their GPA. Historically, EHS has manually added the 10 points to each numeric average. Our system is now set up to add the weighted average of an advanced class to their GPA. This will have zero impact on top ten, valedictorian, salutatorian or the gold and silver teams (all of which are determined by GPA). Should you have any questions, please call the office at 631-5000 from 7:30am-4:30pm.

2020 Tennis Schedule
Ho ho ho! EISD will be out for Christmas holidays starting on December 20th and will resume classes on Monday, January 6th. We hope you all have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Girls Basketball Schedule Changes:
Glen Rose -Tues, Dec 10th - NO 4:00 pm Game, only 2 games starting at 5:00 pm
No JV Tournament this weekend. (Dec 13 -14) - Varsity on Friday & Saturday only.

Just a reminder that our 2019-2020 Beta Club inductions will be tomorrow (Tuesday the 3rd) at 9:30 am in the auditorium with a reception to follow in the library for inductees and their families.

Colorado City cancelled the JV Black game.
New schedule:
7:30 be at gym
7:45 leave for C-City
10:30 - JV Red vs C-City
1:30 - Mavs vs C-City
(C-City vs Snyder girls is at 12:00 noon)
The time for the boys basketball games in Colorado City on Tuesday, November 26 have changed.
The new correct times are as follows:
9:00 AM - JV Black
10:30 AM - JV Red
1:30 PM - Varsity boys
The Lady Mavs basketball teams will be playing 2 games at home tonight against Huckabay. They will start at 5:00 and 6:15.Go Lady Mavs!
The Middle School boys basketball games scheduled for Thursday, November 14 will not be played due to football playoff games.
We hope to have these games rescheduled later in the season.
Eastland Middle School basketball games for tonight vs Cisco have been cancelled.

The Lady Mavs volleyball Bi-District playoff game vs Colorado City will be Tuesday at 6:30 at Brownwood High School. Please come and support these young ladies!!! Go Lady Mavs!
Kindergarten will have a special treat. AirEvac will be landing at Siebert today to talk to our students about what they do and to let them take a look at the helicopter. It will be awesome!
