Important Notice: Yearbooks 2024-2025

UPDATE:

EISD Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your patience as we completed a thorough review of the recent yearbook concerns. After carefully identifying all reported omissions and working closely with our yearbook staff and print partner, we are prepared to move forward with a resolution.

We recognize that some families purchased yearbooks with the expectation that their child would be included and were understandably disappointed when that did not occur. Our goal throughout this process has been to make this right for our students and families.

To address this issue, the district will be reprinting the yearbooks at no cost to families to ensure that all students who had school pictures taken are accurately represented. Families who purchased a yearbook will receive a corrected copy once the reprinting process is complete. Additional details regarding the timeline and distribution process will be shared as soon as they are finalized.

In addition, we are implementing additional review and verification processes to help ensure this type of issue does not occur again in the future.

We appreciate the patience and understanding shown by our families as we worked through this process. We also want to acknowledge the dedication of our yearbook staff, who take great pride in their work and care deeply about accurately representing all students.

If you have questions related to your individual situation, please contact Mrs. Tracy Wells at twells@eastland.esc14.net.

Thank you for your continued support of our students and our school community.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Williams

Dear EISD parents and guardians,

The yearbook staff has identified some errors in our anniversary edition yearbook, and we want to make you aware of the situation. Some families have discovered that their children were not included in the class pictures, and we are currently reviewing the books carefully to identify any additional omissions and understand the full scope of the issue.

Our team is working diligently with our print partners at Balfour to review these concerns and determine the best path forward. We understand how meaningful this yearbook is to our students, families, and community, and your patience and understanding during this process are truly appreciated.

If your child was accidentally omitted, or if you want to ensure we are aware of a specific omission, please contact Mrs. Tracy Wells at twells@eastland.esc14.net so we can make sure it is documented.

Additional information will be shared with families as soon as we have a clearer understanding of the available options.

Thank you for your continued support of our students and our school.

Jeremy Williams
