September 23rd at 2 PM, the Eastland Fire Department arrived at Siebert Elementary to teach Early Education, Pre-K, and Kindergarten students about fire safety. They brought a fire truck and demonstrated tools they use to help in emergencies. They also reminded kids about calling 911 in case of emergencies, as well as how to put out a fire if it's on you: Stop, Drop, Cover, and Roll.
Students were allowed to handle the wrenches and nozzles the fire fighters use and posed for a group picture next to the truck.
A special thank you to the Eastland Fire Department for coming out and teaching our students!
