At the school board meeting on September 14th, Jayci Majors and Isaac Robles were presented as Students of the Month for Eastland High School!
Jayci Majors is the daughter of Lacy and Ronald Majors. Jayci has been extremely active throughout her time at Eastland High School. She has been a member of the Varsity Volleyball team all four years, serving as team captain her senior year and earning First Team All-District honors. She has also competed in Varsity Track all four years, advancing to the regional meet each of the past three years, with hopes of making it back again this spring.
Jayci has also played Varsity Softball all four years, earning First Team All-District honors, and competed in Varsity Basketball for three years. Outside of athletics, Jayci has been a Beta Club member for four years and is serving as a class officer during her senior year. After graduation, Jayci plans to attend either Angelo State University or Texas A&M University, where she plans to major in Animal Science. When asked who her favorite teacher is, Jayci chose Mrs. Donna Trammell, her Physics teacher.

She is also... if not the best... then one of the best female athletes to grace our halls. I’m so proud of her. I’m proud that I’ve had the privilege to teach her for two years. Jayci has represented Eastland High School extremely well through her involvement, accomplishments, and leadership, and we are proud to recognize her.
Isaac Robles is the son of Raquel and Cruz Robles. Isaac has been active in football for three years, including two years at the varsity level, and he is also an active member of FCA. Isaac plans to graduate early in December and then ship out to begin his service in the United States Marine Corps in January, where he will attend boot camp. While serving in the Marines, Isaac plans to pursue a college degree through the University of Alabama. After completing his commitment to the Marine Corps, his long-term goal is to pursue a career as a State Trooper. When asked who his favorite teacher is, Isaac chose Coach Brad Thompson, his Government teacher.

Isaac has represented Eastland High School extremely well through his character, involvement, and the positive influence he has on others, and we are proud to recognize him.
