At the School Board meeting on January 15th, Jovani Moreno and Yullianna Palacios were named as Students of the Month for December!
Jovani was noted as being a kind-hearted student with a great personality. His favorite teacher was Mrs. Cunningham.
"He has a natural presence that makes him easy to root for," Mrs. Cunningham said. "It has been rewarding to watch him grow through athletics over the years, and I respect the positive energy he brings to those around him. He is the kind of student you remember for who he is, not just what he does in the classroom, and I have no doubt those qualities will continue to serve him well."
Yullianna is a hard-working, outgoing student who is known for always putting in her best effort. Her favorite teacher was Mrs. Jones.
"As a sixth grade student, Yullianna was a student who I could rely on to work hard and try her hardest to be successful in all that she took on," Mrs. Jones said. "She was not afraid to ask questions and participate in class which led to success in the classroom. She also showed responsibility and self discipline which is sometimes a challenge for sixth grade students. These qualities, I feel, will help Yullianna accomplish anything she sets her mind to."
