At the School Board Meeting on October 13th, Clarrisa Flores was selected as Teacher of the Month and Cheryl Thayer was selected as Employee of the month! Congratulations!
Mrs. Thayer is the Siebert Elementary School's Secretary. She is instrumental in the functioning of the school, and always goes above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly around campus. She is a master at multitasking and making sure all of the students and staff are taken care of. Cheryl is very dedicated to Siebert Elementary and truly cares about the kids and the adults that care for them.
Ms. Flores is the Spanish II teacher at Eastland High School. This is her first year working for Eastland ISD, but she has already made herself known for her servant leadership and her passion for teaching. Mr. Chesser notes that she is even getting him to learn Spanish again, and that her tireless drive is an inspiration for students and staff alike.
