On October 11th, the EHS Band competed at the Concho Classic Marching Contest in San Angelo. Our band finished in 5th place out of 9 AAA bands, and was in a close battle for 4th. The 3A Bands at this contest were some of the most competitive in the state, according to one of our judges. The judges commented on our kids' attention to detail and the great ensemble sound that our band has!
The next competition for the EHS Band is the UIL Region 7 Marching Contest on October 18th at 4:15pm in Stephenville at Art Briles Stadium. If you can attend, please come out and support the hard work these kids have done over the last few months!
