The EHS Band had a full schedule on October 4th! First, the band performed in the Old Rip Fest Parade. After marching down main street and playing in front of the Court House, the band loaded up to compete at the Stephenville Invitational Marching Contest.
"It was a long day, but we received lots of positive comments and have work to do to refine our show." Band Director Dr. Cody Knott stated. "Thanks to everyone who came out to support us at both events! If you've ever done the double, you know what it can be like, especially in the heat!"
The EHS Band finished 4th in 3A and took second in 3A percussion. The next competition the marching band will compete in is the Concho Classic in San Angelo on October 11th. Their performance is at 4:30pm.
