Thursday morning, Sammy Herrera was given a send off by EHS Cheerleaders, the EHS Band, and a number of students and staff as he prepared to make his way to Austin for the State Cross Country competition. The school vehicle was then escorted out of town by police and firefighters. Thank you to all who participated and showed their support. Photos from the event can be found here.
