EHS Band Old Rip Fest and Paluxy Valley Marching Festival

The EHS Band had three solid performances on Saturday from the Old RIP Parade to the Paluxy Valley Marching Festival in Glen Rose in Prelims and Finals. Saturday was a long day, but our band did well. The parade was a hit and the performance of The Horse was great for our community.

The Paluxy Valley Marching Festival went well. Students had a clinic on the field with Richard Kincaid, retired director from N. Crowley and had a solid performance in prelims, finishing 6th. In finals, the band pushed through and finished 6th as well. The competition was tough with bands from 2A to 5A with solid groups and outstanding judges comments for us. Students were able to see some great bands perform as well.

We are very proud of these students and all of their hard work. Saturday, October 14th, the EHS Band will perform at 4PM in Mineral Wells for the UIL Region Contest.
