Eastland’s Cross Country Teams competed in Brock on August 12th. The races for varsity teams were two one-mile legs per 3 person team member. JV teams ran a 3 mile relay with each team member running one mile each.
Varsity Girls- 2 Teams:
Lily Bird, Scarlet Messenger, and Brooklyn Bird medaled 6th place with a time of 39:17
Lauryne Hobbs, Annaliss Hicks, and Rileight Whitlock finished 9th with a time of 44:12
Varsity Boys- 3 Teams:
Andrew Hicks, Miguel Hernandez, and Sammy Herrera medaled first place with a time of 31:04
Chase Clark, Glyn McCleskey, and Samuel Cruz medaled sixth place with a time of 33:10
Hezahcia Patel, Jayton Wesley and Keegan Williamson finished in eighth place with a total time of 33:29.
JV Girls- 1 Team:
Shelby Hatton, Paola Alaniz, and Carolyn Hernandez finished in ninth place with a total time of 25:19
JV Boys- 1 Team*:
Jason Zamora, Brady Bramlett, and Paxton Brown medaled in second place with a total time of 18:11
*Also Damien McDivitt and Mikey Seabourn ran without a third team member
