The Eastland ISD family is sad to announce the death of one of our staff, Cheri Smith (Eastland Middle School, 8th grade Social Studies Teacher). Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Smith’s family at this time. We also ask for thoughts and prayers for our school and community during this difficult time.
Members of our Crisis Response Team will be available to meet with students and staff individually or in groups when we resume school Tuesday, as well as over the coming days and weeks.
