Update for Siebert Parents:
Students will be allowed to come in and get their belongings on their designated days and turn in any library books and technology checked out:
Friday, May 15th: Kinder
Monday, May 18th: 1st and 2nd
Tuesday, May 19th: 3rd
Wednesday, May 20th: 4th
Thursday, May 21st: 5th
Schedule for those days will go as follows and depend on the student’s last name beginning with:
A-E 8:30-9:30
F-K 9:30-10:30
L-Q 10:30-11:30
R-Z 11:30-12:30
Those that are not able to make allotted time can come between 1:30-3:30.  Parents will pull through the front of the building like morning drop-off and only a few people will be allowed in at a time to be in compliance with TEA guidelines for entering school buildings. Student’s belongings will be placed in the hallway outside their teacher’s class and labeled.  While waiting to go inside, please remain in the car.
Kinder pick-up will be a little different as students will also be collecting their Kinder cap, gown, and certificate. We know that they are missing out on end of the year activities but we want our Kinder students to dress up and have a celebration with their families. We are asking that parents send us a photo of their student dressed in their cap and gown so we can make a digital slideshow graduation.

Fifth grade missed out on their last field day, recess, awards and middle school tour. In coordination with middle school administration, in August we will be having a cookout for our 5th graders going to 6th grade under our new awning between the dome and school. They will have an opportunity to have their last recess together, eat, walk through Siebert halls one last time and then we will walk up the hill and tour the middle school and Mr. Henry will lead a middle school orientation.
Side Note- Mr. Henry also wanted me to let 5th grade parents know that their student needs to be checking their school email for an email from him that will have instructions/link for them to signup for his Remind101 in which he uses to communicate to them.

I will be sending out information on registration the beginning of next week.  We are hoping to have online registration for Siebert ready to go Tuesday, May 12.

Finally, if students have everything completed by May 15th they will be done for the year. Teachers will be using the final two weeks trying to collect missing assignments from students and assisting those who need help. Zoom meetings will no longer take place except for those who request help or assistance with assignments not completed.

We appreciate everything you as parents have done. You have all done an amazing job and all of us at Siebert feel blessed to be a part of such an amazing community that supports our students. I am looking forward to August when we reunite with our students, our cafeteria is loud with students laughing and talking with friends, classrooms are full of learning and discovery, and students running around and playing during recess.

Have blessed weekend,
